We have one job: to clear our land of explosive devices.

It will take at least 30 years to demine Ukraine, because the fighting continues and the land becomes more contaminated every day.

We have mine-clearing machines in operation. They're controlled remotely by deminers, which makes the process safer.

We operated prior to the full-scale invasion, too, but there wasn't such large-scale contamination then. We decommissioned ordnances left over from World War II.

Every patch of Ukrainian land is precious to me. It makes no difference if it's Ternopil Oblast or Zaporizhzhia: everything is near and dear.

Most group members are experienced deminers who worked for the State Emergency Service before the start of the full-scale war. Artem is the only one who joined the ranks of the State Emergency Service in 2023:

I couldn't stay on the sidelines. I wanted to do something useful, to be involved in the shared struggle.

It's time for us to keep moving. We thank the guys for sharing the day with us and, most importantly, for their work. We move towards the city, leaving behind the brigade of deminers who are bringing Ukraine back to life step by step.
